South India beach vacation,Maravanthe Beach
This beach in Karnataka. Very beautiful beach.
50 km from Udupi, Maravanthe also known as Marwanthe is a seaside town with Arabian Sea on one side and the Satuparnika River on the other. With a mountainous backdrop pf Kodachadri Hills, the picturesque virgin beach is yet unspoiled by the flocking tourists and boasts of miles and miles of white sand.
A long drive to Maravanthe along the coastal road is just perfect and seems surreal. You will instantly fall in love with the sunset here, with the crimson skies and golden sea and river that makes Maravanthe look more like a place out of the leaves of the fairy tales books of the children.
Near the beach is the beauteous Belekal Theertha falls near Baindur.
An idyllic and the preferred picnic spot among the natives, the waters here are safe for swimming as huge gentle sea waves wash and splash you playfully. Dancing coconut groves and soft cool breeze add to the already perfect natural surroundings.
The beach certainly deserves to be considered the second most beautiful natural beach in the world. The town itself provides you glimpses of the rich culture of Deccan heart of Indian including the well developed classical of Bharatnatyam, the holistic health exercises and lifestyle of Yoga & Meditation and the fortune-telling science of Vedic Astrology.

New year party welcome new year Goa beaches
Happy new year
Goa is a fun destination and tourists have many ways to party. Dance with the pulsating Goan trance on the soft sands of Goa beaches with a glass of feni and feel the magic of a fun-filled holiday vacation. Drive to the border of Calangute and Candolim to start your last December evening at the Pine Shack.
A bonfire or a beachside barbeque is organised for the tourists and the ambience swells to burst in merriment. Play a guitar or listen to the world famous Goa’s trance music or somebody’s freshly acquired rave CDs, or just listen to the rhythm of the waves coming in while you sip your favourite cocktail. End your evening with a party cruise on the Mandovi River.
There is music and dancing together with a mouthwatering cuisine, and you have lovely views to behold. If you are staying in a beach resort or hotel, you can have a gala time. The opulent loobies are trimmed with radiant ribbons and exquisite parquetry, that make them a holiday paradise.
Nights pulsate with Christmas songs which eventually lead up to Goan trance as the night continues. You can also extend your holiday till February when you can be a part of the world famous Goa carnival. Be a part of the colourful parades of music and lavish floats, that gifts the sun kisssed sands of Goa a new life for three days.
The celebration of the new year is the oldest of all holidays and dates back to the ancient Babylon about 4000 years ago. Although the early Catholic Church condemned the festivities as paganism, today you can see the white washed chapels of Goa being decorated in Christmas which continues till the beginning of new year.
Adorned in colouful papers and poinsettias, the whole ambience of the sacred churches illuminate with the vibrant aroma of candles that create a magnificent sight. Since this is a time when the whole world makes plan for a holiday, it makes it easier for people - who stay abroad but close to our hearts – to return home and experience the thrill of celebrating the new year with family and friends.
Parties often last into the middle of the night after the ringing in of a new year with a belief that what one eats or does on the first day affects the luck throughout the year. It is indeed a fun to celebrate the first few minutes with persons close to our heart and this may be the reason that we await January 1 for the whole year.

Goa - Panaji City - Panaji Tourism
Panaji India - Panaji Goa - Panaji City - Panaji Tourism - Travel Panaji India - Panaji Goa -
- Know before you Goa
Panaji is one of the India's smallest and most pleasant state capital. Built on the south banks of the wide Mandovi River, it officially became the capital of Goa in 1843.
The church on the main square, the Baroque architecture, pretty villas, cobbled streets and interesting buildings give Panaji a distinctly Portuguese ambience.
The city lies by the left bank of the Mandovi River, and close at hand are a bunch of good beaches, perfect for lolling around and soaking up the sun.
called Panjim by the Portuguese, Panaji, which means "the land that does not flood" is the state capital of Goa. Unlike many other capital cities, Panaji has a distinct relaxed character. Most visitors consider Panaji as little more than a transport hub, but this lovely state capital has retained its Portuguese heritage and releases an aura more close to the Mediterranean than of India.
In the oldest part of the town, the Portuguese heritage has survived remarkably well; there are narrow winding streets, old houses with over changing balconies and red-tiled roofs whitewashed churches and numerous small bar and cafes. Portuguese sign are still visible over many premises. link to goa travel package.
