Holiday in Goa

Sightseeing at Candolim Beach, Goa
Goa's look and feel are entirely different from the moment you enter, that has something to do with Goa's unusual past.

Though Goa is extremely popular for its beaches, you could also experience Portuguese culture and architecture as Goa was formally a Portuguese colony.

Goa attracts around 400,000 tourists from all around the world to experience this charming place that also has history

From Candolim a trip into Panjim, Goa's capital is definitely worth while. Take a trip on the sunset cruise aboard the 'Paradise' and enjoy the on board entertainment and after wards go for a superb meal at the Delhi Darbar - an unbeatable night out! at Candolim Beach

A boat trip along the coast to quiet beaches and getting close to dolphins is a glorious way to spend a day.

There are trips to spice plantations, temples, churches and waterfalls which, depending on where your interest lies, are all interesting and informative as well as just good fun.
Aguada Fort is the greatest attraction of Candolim Beach, by the Portuguese way back in 1912 for fortification against the Dutch and the Maratha invaders.

Along with the fort the church, lighthouse and the garrison of the Aguada Jail have also been a part of tourist attractions at Candolim Beach.

The northern side of the fort has two beaches, one of them is Calangute and the other one is Condolim. It is one of the most vis
ited spots in Goa.

Candolim Beach, Goa Summerville Beach Resort Hotel: The Summerville offers good value, simple accommodation in a highly desirable setting. In a peaceful location, just three minutes walk (340m) to Candolim Beach.

A selection of shops, bars and restaurants along the main road are a short stroll away (250m). There is a swimming pool and poolside snack bar where breakfast is served.

The restaurant at Summerville Beach Resort Hotel serves continental, Chinese, Indian and Goan dishes. Benaulim Beach, Goa
Goa Benaulim beach is a very quiet beach, a beach to be when you just want to relax, relax and relax the day off soaking in the sun.

Benaulim starts where Colva beach ends, and the best thing is that it's still undiscovered by domestic tourists even though it is a famous beach for fishing, offering the pleasure and satisfaction of being in goa.

Inn's nearby offer you snacks and drinks as and when preferred and you don't even have to bother about getting up from your comfort zone for such things because there are assistants roaming about through whom you can place the orders and the food or drink is brought to you where you are seated.

So at Goa Benaulim beach, all you do is sit and relax. Benaulim beach gets fairly crowded in the evenings and on weekends. Local visitors often frequent this Benaulim beach.

Apart from the lovely beach, the Church of St John the Baptist which is situated on a hill beyond the village is worth a visit.
